n If the intellectual will were present, then much of this older material could be digitised and linked to archaeological and linguistic databases.
n This would require that anthropologists and others see the point and this is rather unlikely. Anthropologists seem to be increasing embarrassed by museum collections and act to distance themselves from these ‘colonial’ acquisitions.
