The Kay Williamson Educational Foundation exists to promote the goals and ideas of the late Professor Kay Williamson, formerly professor of Nigerian Heritage at the University of Port Harcourt. The Trust, managed by friends and colleagues of Kay, has two main goals;

a) To prepare for publication various manuscripts and studies which were left after the death of Professor Williamson

b) To encourage new research and publication on Nigerian languages

The trust has funds to disburse annually and will make grants to applicants putting forward proposals that the trustees consider are in the spirit of the general provisions of Kay’s will.

All applications are to be made through this website; the trustees are dispersed and cannot consider personal applications of any sort.
