The Kirya-Konzǝl peoples
mKirya (Fali of Kirya) and Konzǝl (Fali of Mijilu) are closely related Central Chadic languages known only from phonetic wordlists in Kraft (1981).
mThey are spoken in some 13 (Kirya) and 15 (Konzǝl) communities in Mubi and Michika LGAs, Adamawa State, Nigeria. The villages are accessible from roads north and east of Mubi but are frequently cut off during the rainy season
mThere might be ca. 5000 Kirya and 8000 Konzǝl though such numbers are only guesses
