LINGUISTIC AND ANTHROPOLOGICAL RESOURCES FOR SIANGIC

Siangic is a newly proposed grouping in Arunachal Pradesh which consists of two languages, Koro and Milang. Milang has previously been classified with the Tani languages, but further analysis suggests that this a part of a pre-Tani family that once stretched across the central region of Arunachal Pradesh. Milang has been relexified heavily from Tani, especially Padam, but is here treated as a non-Tani language.
