The LEEKO group

 

The Leeko group consists of four languages, Leeko, Perema, Nyŋ and Kolbila, stretching from eastern Nigeria into Cameroun. The nomenclature of these languages is as follows;

Of these, Samba Leko is the only language with significant dialects, as a consequence of its great geographical spread. Named dialects are; Ndii, Lekon, Lego, Leko, Laeko, Suntai, Deenu (Koola), Bangla, Samba De Wangai, Sampara.
