Mallam Dendo is a company registered in April 2003 to undertake environmental and anthropological consultancy with a particular focus in West Africa. The name derives from Mallam Dendo, the culture hero of the Nupe people, among whom I worked from 1979-1982. Mallam Dendo came to the Nupe area of west-central Nigeria at the end of the eighteenth century bringing a water-gourd and a Koran and began the process of converting the Nupe.

Mallam Dendo undertakes consultancy in areas similar to those I undertook as a self-employed consultant.
